New owners at former trampoline site to create 50 jobs

A former trampoline park which went under last December is set to be re-opened as a giant inflatables facility, creating 50 jobs.

Jumpin Inflatable Fun, which opens on August 10, will be 18,000 sq ft of slides, tunnels and ball pits.

The new park is on the Siddals Road site of Bounce Revolution, which finally closed for good last December after being sold in a pre-pack in June 2018.

It will be modelled on the company’s first venture in Burgess Hill, Sussex which has already attracted 250,000 since opening last year.

It will have dedicated sessions for toddlers and children with special education needs as well as parties, groups and adult nights.

The park will also feature its own café, a viewing gallery and individual party rooms.

Operations manager, Casey Ruse said: “The concept is exciting and adds to the wealth of things to do in Derby.

“It is the perfect entertainment for families, promoting health, wellbeing and quality family time – encouraging all ages to get active while having fun.”

Hugo Beresford, surveyor at Salloway Property Consultants, which was acting on behalf of a London investor, said: “It has been great to be involved in a project which is designed at the people of Derby and their families having a good time.

“The Siddals Road site is perfectly situated in Derby city centre and has great transport connections as well as being very close to Intu Centre.”
