Caravan and motorhome supplier drives growth with series of key appointments

Caravan and motorhome home supplier has appointed a trio of industry heavyweights to help establish itself as the number one dealer in the East Midlands.
John Ivell and Andrew Brown will join Kimberley’s Chesterfield branch as operations manager and sales manager respectively when it opens towards the end of 2021.
In the meantime, they are working at the dealer’s original site in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire, with new workshop and aftercare development manager Richard Weston – bringing just shy of 60 years of leisure industry experience between them.
In addition to activity in the Midlands, Kimberley has recently appointed someone to take the reins as general manager at its most northerly branch located in Darlington.
Gary O’Brien joins Kimberley after leaving his position taking care of more than 140 dealer relationships as national sales manager at caravan and motorhome manufacturer Swift Group where he spent 25 years.
Chris Lowe, director at Kimberley Caravans, said: “We’re delighted that Gary, John, Andrew and Richard have all joined us recently as we continue to meet the demand for caravans and motorhomes across the UK. As individuals, their credentials speak for themselves, so we’re confident that our upcoming expansion in the midlands will only be bolstered by their arrival.
“With our new Chesterfield site awaiting planning permission and our exclusive 2022 model range due to release in the coming months, we are set to get busier still before the new year period gives us an opportunity to have a much-deserved break.”
