All jobs saved as freight transport company sold in pre-pack deal

Leicestershire-based freight transport business Pro-Driver Logistics has been sold in a pre-packaged administration, safeguarding the jobs of all 28 employees.
Pro-Driver Logistics ran into difficulties following the loss of a significant client, which made it difficult to manage costs within the business.
The Leicester office of Begbies Traynor was instructed to market the business and assets for sale as a going concern and preserve employment for its staff.
The purchaser, Weston Wood, was found following an accelerated marketing process and the business will continue to trade as Pro-Driver.
Joint administrator and partner at Begbies Traynor in Leicestershire, Martin Buttriss, said: “It is always heartening to see so many jobs preserved in this way. The sale will provide much-needed business continuity for staff and customers alike, and we wish every success to the new directors of the business as they move forwards.”
