Landmark office complex on the market for £10.5m

A landmark office building in Leicester is on the market – with an asking price of £10.5m.
Mercury Place, the former office of the Leicester Mercury, is being marketed by FHP Property Consultants and Gerald Eve.
HPPUT bought the building 12 years ago and underwent a major refurbishment programme to turn into Grade A office space.
A statement from FHP said: “There is great opportunity to add value through rental growth within the office areas and in due course a potential repositioning of the leisure unit to the rear.”
The Mercury’s editorial staff moved out of Mercury Place in 2016.
