On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Craig Staten-Spencer

Law firm Roythornes Solicitors has made three hires in its offices in Nottingham and Birmingham.

In Nottingham, Craig-Staten Spencer takes on the role of principal lead for tax and trust administration, alongside senior associate Chris Chan who has returned to private practice to continue to specialise in property litigation following a stint working in-house.

On the other side of the Midlands, Claire Langford arrives in Roythornes’ Birmingham office as head of residential conveyancing.

Vember Mortlock, managing partner at Roythornes, said: “Our three latest recruits bring nearly 50 years of legal experience with them across different areas of expertise, each with their own ambitions that will make us stronger and more versatile as a business. The ongoing growth of both offices continues to establish our impressive offerings in the Midlands and I look forward to seeing this forward momentum sustained into 2024.”
