Panther Logistics

Founded in Northamptonshire and now operating nationally with nine depots across the UK, Panther Logistics has been at the forefront of two-person, premium, white glove delivery since first stepping into the arena in 2011 with the launch of a next-day service offering.

Now part of AIT Worldwide Logistics, its continued innovation and unrivalled service has enabled Panther to enjoy a tremendous year of growth and profitability. Panther’s exponential growth is underpinned by its substantial investment in every aspect of the business over the past 12 months, ensuring it continues to meet customer demand and provide the exemplary level of service for which it is renowned.

Providing customers with storage and fulfilment services to accommodate the increasing trend of customers wishing to reduce their stockholding, Panther now offers a complete end to end solution – a move resulting in a significant number of business wins. One constant over the past 12 months has been Panther’s core philosophy of ensuring the customer is at the very heart of everything it does, and that the overall delivery experience exceeds the customers’ expectations every time.

Providing total flexibility, customers can enjoy next day or nominated day delivery and have their goods delivered to a choice of room with removal of packaging as standard. Panther works closely with its customers to plan capacity in line with predicted volumes to ensure levels of performance are consistently maintained and an overall improved first-time delivery rate. It supports retail partners with premium delivery options like weekend delivery, nominated day delivery options as well as next day delivery if the customer specifies it together with regular communication throughout the delivery process.

Furthermore, with an ethos built on customer care and direct communication, Panther’s bespoke IT platform allows the company to send a suite of comfort messages, from point of order through to delivery. Additionally, Panther’s robust tracking system provides real-time information and total transparency across the network, accessible by both the customer and end user.

Such a consistent performance continues to garner attention from growing numbers of household names keen to benefit from the Panther service. Its impressive customer base includes Wayfair, Dunelm, Asda, Samsung and Pets At Home. Its portfolio has been further bolstered by onboarding one of the UK’s best-known brands – broadcasting giant Sky – which appointed Panther as its sole delivery provider for the next three years to support its historic move into the TV market.

Additionally the company keeps its waste unpolluted and to a minimum, following best practice, recycling, conserving energy, using environmentally friendly technologies and helping to reduce its carbon footprint. Its efforts to reduce its environmental impact and ambitions to have a zero-waste culture, have already started to pay off. Panther now boasts that 70% of its waste is recycled – with an aim to increase that to 90%. Panther has partnered with recycle specialist Footprint, who are responsible for the company’s waste management – managing 85% of the company’s waste to energy.
