Traffic alert: Major Nottingham city centre route blocked
Police have blocked off the inbound side of the Carrington Street bridge in Nottingham city centre.
Emergency services are attending the scene on the bridge which is one of the main arterial routes into Nottingham. Long delays and tailbacks are expected.
The cause of the incident is unclear at present, but the road has been closed since around 7.45am this morning (January 25).
