Lincs care home enters administration
A Lincolnshire nursing home that has been operating for 30 years has slipped into administration.
Peck & Packer (Care Homes), which trades as the Martin Hall Nursing Home in Martin by Timberland, near Lincoln, called in administrators from RSM on February 2.
Martin Hall provides old peoples mental health nursing and residential care for up to 40 residents.
In its latest accounts made up to December 31, 2015, Peck & Packer (Care Homes) had creditors owing £356,510 and made a profit of £372,311.
A recent report by the Care Quality Commission on February 8 said Martin Hall “requires improvement”. The report also said that the nursing home had 27 residents, adding: “Medicines were not managed appropriately and safely. People did not always get their medicines as prescribed.”
