A Nottingham company which boasts 30 years in the construction industry has slipped into administration.

GM Environmental Services, which is based on Lenton Lane Industrial Estate called in administrators from Begbies Traynor to look after the day-to-day running of the company on February 17.

GM is managed and owned by Gene Warburton, managing director and Mandy Warburton, company secretary.

The firm carries out work in the fields of asbestos services, building, maintenance, plumbing, heating engineering, roofing and civil engineering. It has worked for the likes of Rolls-Royce, BT and Galliford Try.

It is unclear as yet why the firm has slipped into administration but in its latest accounts to March 31 2016, GM owed creditors nearly £625,000.
