A1 closed southbound in Leicestershire

The A1 in Leicestershire is closed southbound between the B1081 (Tickencote) and the A606 (Stamford) due to a multi vehicle incident. Leicestershire Police and emergency services are currently on scene.

Highways England says road users are being diverted via the B1081 southbound at Tickencote then on to the A606 and continue until you re-join the A1.

Road users are also advised to allow extra time for their journey.
