Paragon set to double up in Birmingham

Nottingham-headquarted commercial interiors firm, Paragon Interiors Group is expanding its Birmingham presence with the opening of a new office, double its original size.

Gary Tailby, director, and Tina Batham, regional sales director have headed up the team since Paragon announced plans to open an office in late 2016 but with £20m of contracts secured in just six months, Paragon has accelerated its growth forecasts for the West Midlands market.

Paragon is now on site fitting out their new offices at Imperial & Whitehall on Colmore Row.

Tailby said: “We have a very experienced team here and Tina and I knew there was a chance to make real inroads into the market. We’ve had a strategic plan for growth which was always going to include expanding our own office space but the demand has been such that we have now brought that forward.

“We’ve won over £20m worth of contracts already and the pipeline for the next 6 months is very strong and we are behind some major fit-outs that are coming to the city. There was a phrase that was used a lot a few years ago ‘Boomingham’ and it is easy to see why.

“The city is a real magnet for inward investment, thanks to the hard work of organisations like Business Birmingham and we are ideally positioned to work with businesses that are coming here. Indeed, we hope to be part of the package that attracts them in the first place by helping the agents and developers to market their properties.”
