On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Chartered accountant Duncan & Toplis has promoted three members of its staff at its Grantham office.

Graeme Hills makes the leap from director to equity director. Julia Sells, HR manager, will become an HR associate director, and Clare Hulme is to be promoted from manager to associate director.

Managing director of Duncan & Toplis Adrian Reynolds said: “It is with great pride that we promote these three exceptional individuals. Here at Duncan & Toplis we are committed to our team and reward their hard work accordingly. Clare, Graeme and Julia have brought their experience to the fore and I wish to congratulate them on their new roles.

“Over the past year we have taken on 22 new professionals across the firm and we also had 21 training contracts and placements starting late last year, so the ongoing development of our team at all levels continues.”

journalism in 2015, is the latest intern at Lincoln-based Shooting Star PR.

Mike Shields, PR account manager at Shooting Star, said: “Since we launched our Rising Star internship scheme in 2010 all six interns have secured jobs in the industry, and two have secured a full-time role at Shooting Star.

“We’re excited to welcome Nikhita to our Lincoln office. Her work experience so far has set her up well for the demands of agency life and we’re confident she will excel in this fast-paced industry.”
