Another intu Clocktower restaurant closes in Nottingham

Another restaurant at intu’s ill-fated Clocktower dining area in the Victoria shopping centre has closed down.
Stonebaked Pizza Co, which only opened last August, has closed down. When it opened, the restayrant promised “the very best, premium quality, custom built artisan pizza at an affordable price served with a ‘say yes’ philosophy and a big smile in cool, casual surroundings,” adding: “the people of Nottingham are going to love it”.
The closure comes just weeks after Joe’s Kitchen and Coast to Coast closed their Clocktower restaurants.
Intu Victoria Centre manager said that the firm is in talks with a number of restaurant operators to take the empty units.
Last month Nottingham Street Food Club has announced that it will open an independent indoor street food market at intu Victoria Centre before the summer.
The 150-seater venue will feature four hot food stalls and a bar, all manned by local independent traders.
