Motorbike dealerships slip into administration

East Midlands jobs are at risk at Bikers Motorcycles, which has dealerships in Swadlincote and Clay Cross, after the firm entered administration.

The family owned business, which has been trading for 15 years, was an award-winning Kawasaki dealership.

Tyrone Courtman and Lee Brocklehurst have been appointed as joint administrators to the dealership, following increasing pressures on the company’s working capital facility.

Trading will continue and the administrators are working to minimise job losses within the company.

Courtman says they are confident they will find a buyer for the company’s business and assets.

“Bikers Motorcycles is an award-winning local company with a team of trained and dedicated staff.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to purchase a business which has fallen on hard times, but has continued to provide wonderful services to the large biking community in the region.

“We are have already received several expressions of interest in the business which we are currently pursuing.”
