On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Chesterfield-based accountancy firm, Mitchells Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers has appointed Alex Frain to its corporate team.
She joins from a leading national business advisory firm’s graduate programme where she specialised in audit work.
She will continue working towards Chartered Accountant status through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) under Mitchells, working alongside its corporate team to deliver services to SMEs throughout the region.
Frain said: “Moving to Mitchells is not just an opportunity for me to become a more rounded professional, but also to reclaim a work/life balance. Mandeep Kaur
Tallents Solicitors hired Mandeep Kaur at its Newark office.
She will be working with and supporting Jeremy Blatherwick and his team in the conveyancing department.
Kaur qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and has dealt with residential property matters including: acquisitions, disposals, remortgages and transfers.
She said: “I’m very excited about joining the Conveyancing team at Tallents and look forward to meeting as many existing and new clients and contacts as soon as possible over the coming weeks and months.
“My clients can expect a personable service from me with a proactive approach to their legal needs at all times.”
