A professional services firm says it seen its team almost double in size since opening in a new Gainsborough’s commercial office space, which has now reached 95% capacity.

Marshall’s Yard, which is managed by Pygott and Crone and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is one of Lincolnshire’s shopping centres also offering small and large-scale offices suitable for growing SMEs or start-ups.

Accountancy firm Wright Vigar snapped up one of the  offices just months after the offices opened ten years ago.

“Our firm jumped at the chance to secure office space at Marshall’s Yard in 2007 and it has proved to be the ideal location for us to expand our offering across the region,” said Pete Harrison, director of Wright Vigar.

“The space here provides a professional environment that has enabled us to grow our business in the town far beyond expectation. Our team has grown by more than 40 per cent since opening an office here, which is fantastic as we continue to recruit the right individuals to join our talented team.”

William Downing, director and Pygott and Crone which manages the commercial tenancies at the development, said: “We’ve been working with Dransfield Properties since Marshall’s Yard was initially developed ten years ago and there is no doubt that the development helped to attract some excellent businesses to the town.

“Now the retail and leisure development is well established, and with greater investment into the town’s tourism and housing, Gainsborough continues to be an affordable choice for businesses looking to gain a foothold in the region, and is ideally located near Sheffield, Lincoln and Hull.

“Our commercial team has introduced 25 potential clients to the development and the town is fast becoming a place where more businesses want to invest. We understand what tenants are best suited to this environment, with the site now standing at 95% per cent capacity.

“I’m delighted that businesses have been able to expand so significantly since relocating to the development, it really is a hub for successful local enterprises and the success stories which have come out of Marshall’s Yard are a testament to this.”

Alison Hall, centre manager for Marshall’s Yard added: “In addition to commercial office space, the Marshall’s Yard has several well-known High Street stores including M&S, Laura Ashley, Costa Coffee, Brown’s department store and a gym with a pool, with plenty of onsite parking, which is a real selling point for many of our commercial tenants.

“Pygott & Crone has been the ideal agent to help manage commercial tenants. They are big supporters of Gainsborough and have the expertise to bring commercial businesses to our town to help drive income and create jobs in the area.”
