Stormclad reveals £100,000 refurb

Brookfields Garden Centre

Nottingham-based Stormclad has completed the £100,000 refurbishment of its show site in Mapperley.

The refurb makes the site Nottingham’s largest conservatory village.

The newly refurbished 3,000 sq ft centre features six new conservatories laid out in a ‘village’ style. Visitors can walk around the site, which was designed by horticultural show gold-winning landscapers, and enter each conservatory to take inspiration for their own homes.

Managing director of Stormclad, Clyde Scothern, said: “The new Brookfields site is designed with the aspirations of home owners in mind, we have gone to great lengths to create a realistic, outdoor environment that people can feel comfortable in and thanks to this new fit-out it will be much more accessible to the local community.

“We want to bring people’s imaginations to life by providing a service they simply cannot experience anywhere else. Customers can walk around real structures that we have designed and built and get a feel for how they can enhance their living space.

“It’s important to us to invest heavily into our products, show sites and overall customer experience.”

Stormclad’s head office is in New Basford and the firm has another show site at Wheatcroft Garden Centre in Edwalton.
