Agent appointed for Rushcliffe development land

Acting on behalf of Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottingham commercial agents heb have been instructed to sell almost 5 acres of industrial land on the popular Moorbridge Road Industrial Estate in Bingham.

The site is being offered ‘free from developer tie’ and offers a “superb” opportunity to both owner occupiers as well as commercial developers to secure land for commercial development, according to Robert Maxey at heb.

Maxey said: “It is increasingly rare to see good development land offered for sale in quality locations, and this certainly ticks the all right boxes!.
Rushcliffe Borough Council were aware of a lack of self-build opportunities, and indeed development sites in general and have taken a proactive approach to provide land for development for the benefit of local business and job creation.”

Leanne Ashmore at Rushcliffe Borough Council said: “Through our ongoing dialogue with local business we were acutely aware of unsatisfied demand for new business premises in the area, and are pleased to be able to release this land to help local industry develop. If it suits a purchaser of the land we would welcome the chance to partner with them to provide an amount of
starter units to serve Bingham and the surrounding villages.”

“We are anticipating strong demand in the site, bearing in mind the lack of supply and pent-up demand locally,” added Maxey.

“We intend to market the site through May, with a view to establishing interest from potential purchasers, thereafter drawing matters to a conclusion and agreeing a sale. At this stage we are happy to consider proposals for the whole site or as smaller plots.”
