New owner for Derby recruitment firm

Recruitment firm Driver Hire Derby has a new owner.

Kathy Wylie takes over as the franchisee of the firm after a career in property development and, prior to that, retail banking.

Driver Hire franchisees provide temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to businesses and organisations.

“I researched several franchising opportunities before settling on Driver Hire,” said Wylie.

She added: “My background in retail banking has given me a good understanding of good customer service. That, coupled with Driver Hire’s proven business model, enables me to offer an in-depth range of recruitment and training services to local businesses. I’m really looking forward to serving the needs of the business community here in Derby and the surrounding area.”

Driver Hire managing director (UK), Jeremy Neale, said: “I’m delighted that Kathy has joined the Driver Hire network. She’s taking over a well-established office with a good reputation in recruitment and training.
