A Nottingham property agency says it has already had a number of enquiries from national operators for a prime vacant city centre space, as it looks to fresh markets in different cities.

Box Property has been instructed by a local developer to market units along Carrington Street opposite the soon-to-be redeveloped Broadmarsh Bus Station.

Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com this week, Box Property’s Ben Tebbutt said: “This area of town is set for big things, with the new redevelopment of the bus station and Intu’s investment in the Broadmarsh shopping centre.

“Now is the perfect time to get a head start on the competition by moving into Carrington Street.”

Tebbutt said that some 10,000 sq ft is available over two floors on Carrington Street, and that Box Property is targeting retailers, food outlet and office tenants.

Tebbutt set up Box Property with Frankie Labbate four months ago; he says he’s been “amazed” at the response to the new agency.

“We’ve taken a different approach and I think people appreciate that. Now, we’re looking to push on. We’re going to start working on other cities and target professional services and industrial work. It’s been a fantastic start.”
