A46 closed after serious incident

The A46 is closed southbound this morning between the A1434 and A1133 due to a serious collision.

Nottinghamshire Police are at scene. Highways England told us the road is likely to be closed “for some time”.

Road users are being diverted via local routes via the village of Brough and are advised to expect delays and to consider alternative routes.
