Nottingham care provider swoops for two new care homes

A Nottingham care provider has bought two new care homes with financial support from Barclays.

National Care Consortium, which has its head office in the city, has purchased the homes in Hull and Driffield – which will offer care for 96 clients.

Tanzeel Younas, director of National Care Consortium, said: “Part of our strategic growth plan has been to expand into new areas of the country. When the opportunity arose to purchase Longhill Care Home in Hull and Woodlands Care Home in Driffield, we were keen to progress. Our ethos has always been to provide high quality care and to integrate ourselves with the local community and this is something we will continue to do at these new homes.”

Alan Mele, relationship director at Barclays in Nottingham, said: “We have enjoyed a long standing relationship with the business spanning twenty years. Tanzeel and his family have many years’ experience in the industry and we are delighted to support them with this latest purchase which will add to their current portfolio of homes.”
