Traffic Alert: HGV crash causing severe delays on M1

There are severe delays on the M1 Northbound in Derbyshire due to a crash involving several HGVs.

There are delays of over an hour due to three lanes being closed between between J29 (Markahm Vale A6192, Bolsover (A632) and J30 (Sheffield A6135, Worksop (A619).

This is following a crash earlier this morning involving several HGVs which has resulted in a large amount of debris to be cleared. The HGVs are substantially damaged also and require specialist recovery.

Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journey is planning on travelling in the area and consider alternative routes, if possible.
