On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Kate Richardson has been appointed as surveyor within the agency team at the Nottingham offices of JLL.
She joins from Innes England and is the Nottinghamshire RICS Matrics chair.
She said: “RICS Matrics is all about nurturing the younger generation to help shape the future. JLL has a great track record for promoting best practice in the industry and understands the importance of people to its business.
“Being part of a global real estate company also provides the corporate muscle required to access and understand the broader market and I’m looking forward to working with the team to deliver some excellent results for Nottingham and the East Midlands.”
Matthew Smith lead director for the Nottingham office of JLL said: “Kate is clearly a hugely driven and enthusiastic individual who has a great career ahead of her. Law firm Shakespeare Martineau has promoted two of its East Midlands team to associate partner.
The two new associate partners are Victoria Bovington, a commercial property lawyer in the firm’s Nottingham office, and Richard Thurling, a planning lawyer in the Leicester office.
Elsewhere throughout the firm, three more legal directors have been promoted to associate partner; Emma Porter and Chris von Strandmann in the London office, and Jayne Doore in the Birmingham office.
