Plans revealed for Nottingham gateway residential scheme

Nottingham architect Rayner Davies has submitted a planning application for 23 two-bedroom flats on what it is calling “one of the most prominent gateway sites into the centre of Nottingham”.
The scheme, on the corner of Gregory Street and Abbey Bridge, will be a single block development if it receives planning permission.
A statement from Rayner Davies reads: “Strong in form with a bold use of colour, it announces its presence to the street, whilst still remaining respectful to adjoining buildings. Two storeys step up to four on the corner. The external envelope curves around the site, enveloping a private central courtyard garden.”
The application is expected to take three months and Rayner Davies says work will start on site soon after.
