Freeths reports another year of growth

Law firm Freeths has reported another year of growth with a recorded fee income of £78.9m – a 9.5% increase on last year.
The firm says that over the last 12 months staff numbers have risen from 784 to 844, with its Nottingham office the firm’s largest office both in terms of turnover and staff. Turnover for the office for this year was nearly £2m higher than the previous year.
Chris Freeston, managing partner of Freeths in Nottingham, said: “We are very proud that we have continued to grow organically and attract high calibre lawyers. The financial results are testament to the work our teams put in throughout the year and we recognise this wouldn’t be achievable without everyone’s valuable input, so all staff will be rewarded with a bonus payment amounting to 7% of salaries.”
Freeths has twelve offices across the UK and has recently opened a new office in Liverpool while the office and meeting room space at the Nottingham and Derby offices have undergone refurbishment programmes.
The firm’s Leicester office will celebrate its 20th anniversary later this year and hasjust won the ‘Large Law Firm of the year’ award at the 2018 Leicestershire Law Society Awards, along with Fiona Harrison being crowned Junior Lawyer of the Year.
