Alfreton manufacturer reports export success Down Under

A second-generation family business from Alfreton says it has seen sales in Australia and New Zealand jump by 163%.

Rock Fall, the manufacturer of safety footwear says incorporating an international toecap and certifying them to conformity in European, American and Australian markets is the key to its success for its new range electrical hazard footwear.

Speaking about the growth, Matthew Noon, director said: “Several years ago, we took the decision to focus on long term, high risk but high reward developments in safety footwear. Since then we have launched several world first and industry defining products. Doing this has increased our reputation significantly and enabled us to compete against the largest brands in the world, anywhere in the world. We recognised the Australian and New Zealand markets as a key part of the world that would drive this forward and everyone at Rock Fall is ecstatic with the results to date, there is still so much more potential, and these figures give us the confidence to keep it up.”
