A1 closed in both directions in Notts

The A1 in Nottinghamshire is closed in both directions between the A6075 (Tuxford) and B1164 (Carlton On Trent) due to a serious collision involving two lorries. Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Services are on scene with the road expected to remain closed for several hours.

Traffic is being diverted via local routes.

Highways England is advising motorists travelling towards the area please allow additional travelling time.
