New Nottingham office lead for Curtins

James Garment

James Garment has been promoted to the role of Nottingham office lead for engineering consultancy, Curtins.

Technical director Garment has been with the firm for more than five years and will now head up its Nottingham office, leading its 30-strong team.

Garment said: “I have worked in Nottingham my entire career and I was really excited about the opportunity that Curtins afforded me. When I joined the firm in 2013, we had a small but highly experienced team on which we have built, allowing us to go from strength to strength.

“In that time, we have grown into a larger practice offering multi-disciplinary engineering services, leveraging our wide range of expertise and experience to deliver an exceptional service to a varied selection of clients thanks to the real team ethos we have fostered here.

“I am extremely passionate about the team we have built in Nottingham; we have cherrypicked the very best people who all have a real passion for their work, are honest and hard-working as well as incredibly talented and consistently in pursuit of new and innovative ways of working, which allows us to exceed our clients’ expectations.”

The firm has worked on a number of high profile schemes throughout Nottinghamshire and the wider Midlands, including the Heart of the Campus scheme at Nottingham Trent University’s Clifton campus and the Vijay Patel building at De Montfort University in Leicester.
