Well-known finance expert joins NPS committee

Nottingham Professional Services (NPS), the networking group for Nottingham’s professional services community, has added Neil Wade to its committee.
Wade is a well-known figure within the banking sector, with 28 years’ experience working for high street banks including Lloyds, Bank of Scotland, Santander and The Co-operative Bank. He also has two years’ experience working for accountancy firm HSKS Greenhalgh.
Wade will combine his NPS Committee role with his current position as associate director of Independent Banking Professionals.
NPS chair Kate Henning said: “It’s great to have someone of Neil’s calibre and expertise join the committee. He has an incredible black book of contacts having worked in the industry for nearly 30 years and will be invaluable in helping to ensure NPS fulfils its role of bringing businesses and advisers together to invigorate business activity through better networking.”
Wade said: “I was honoured to be asked to join the committee and look forward to meeting new and existing contacts to explain the benefits of being involved in NPS. Their events play an important part in ensuring Nottingham does its best to attract inward investment, company relocations and new residents.”
