On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Derby-based ‘AV IT Media has made two new hires.

Kristen Jennings joins as video producer and editor after recently graduating as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Media Production from the University of Derby.

Meanwhile, Nicky Scarfe has been appointed as marketing manager.

Mark Averill and Ash Stanley set up ‘AV IT Media in March 2018.

Averill said: “We knew we had to grow quickly with the amount of enquiries we were receiving, however we wanted to do it in the right way, and attract the right people. Bringing Nicky and Kristen into the fold allows us to take on bigger projects and grow the business further in 2019, supplying high end videography and photography all over the world. To be part of the ‘AV IT team, personality comes before anything, and I certainly know Nicky and Kristen will fit into our fun and friendly ethos.”

Leicestershire-based door manufacturer, Hörmann UK, has hired Bradley Mills as area sales manager.

He said: “Hörmann is a huge name in the industry and a well-respected market leader. With a strong background in sales, I was excited at the prospect of working for such a well-established company whilst furthering my expertise and knowledge in this field.”
