New images emerge of huge West Bridgford mixed-use development

How the new scheme will look

New images have been released of a huge mixed-use scheme on disused land in the West Bridgford area of Nottingham.

As we reported earlier this week, a company called Wilford Lane Developments, which is thought to be a joint venture between Lincoln-based Simons Developments and two Kuwaiti investors, wants to build a new Lidl supermarket with 350 car parking spaces, a pub, a drive-thru coffee shop, 204 apartments in four blocks and 75 retirement homes.

Once finished, the development could create 85 jobs on Wilford Lane on disused land next to the ROKO gym.

Rushcliffe Borough Council will rule on the scheme over the next few months.
