On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Property agency Innes England has added to its Professional Services team with the appointment of Lydia Tatar as a surveyor.
Tatar graduated with a First-Class degree from Nottingham Trent University and is a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors after passing her Assessment of Professional Competence last year. She has also gained experience at Lambert Smith Hampton, Petchey Holdings and Nottingham City Council.
She said: “Innes England has a great reputation and I’m delighted to be working with such a talented team.
“I’ll be focusing on landlord and tenant matters and am really excited by this opportunity to further my career.”
Director Steve Holland, who heads up the firm’s professional services department, said: “Lydia is a great addition to the company. She is an ambitious individual and is sure to go far.”
A former senior police officer has been appointed to head up a specialist local charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people who are victims or at risk of child sexual exploitation (CSE).
Tracy Harrison
Tracy Harrison is the new chief executive of Safe and Sound which is based in Derby and works with children and young people aged up to 18 across the city and county.
She recently retired from Derbyshire Constabulary after a 32-year career with the Force.
Her final role before retiring was as Superintendent in charge of operational policing in the south of the county.
She was also the Force’s lead on children and young people working in partnership across the county to improve the lives of children and young people, particularly those most vulnerable in local communities.
Harrison said: “I have been involved with Safe and Sound since it was founded in 2002 and would like to take the opportunity to thank those involved with the charity thus far. There have been some incredible achievements that I would like to build on.”
