Studio flats plan for office building revealed

Plans to turn a Derby city centre office building into 44 flats has been revealed.

Developer Mspace wants to redevelop Marlborough House on Charnwood Street into a range of studio flats.

The three-storey building has been let as offices for a number of years and has a 30 car parking spaces, which would be retained if the plans were given the green light.

A statement accompanying the planning application reads: “We believe that the site has an opportunity to provide a high quality conversion in keeping with the former of the surrounding area.”
