On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham based student-letting agent FHP Student Living, has appointed Stuart Bowley as its new office manager.

He brings with him 22 years of experience.

He said: “I have worked across the property sector for almost twenty-two years and have always loved the diversity and fluidity of the industry and that is something that I think student living really offers, especially in a city that is so desirable for prospective students.

“I’m looking forward to helping FHP Student Living achieve the best results for students in the city at both Nottingham Trent and the University of Nottingham. I hope my experience in the industry will add to the expertise the team already have in student living, by seeing the market from a different perspective and continuing to offer the highest standard in student living.”

Catherine Lyons

Worksop-based garden buildings manufacturer Kybotech has appointed a new director to head up the company’s buying team.

Catherine Lyons has joined the company from discount warehouse JTF, where she gained eight years of experience as director of buying.

She also spent three years as head of buying and merchandising for home shopping channels at Ideal Shopping Direct, with additional responsibility for quality assurance.

Chied operating officer Christopher Palmer-Smith said: “We’re delighted to have found a candidate of Catherine’s calibre for this position.

“The role of buying director is crucial to our continued growth and so Catherine’s appointment marks another step in the right direction for the company.

“Catherine boasts valuable skills in sourcing, purchasing, and marketing, and we’re excited to see what the future holds.”
