‘Excited’ Experian posts flat domestic results

Nottingham headquartered information services company Experian has seen a flat first quarter of its financial year.
In the firm’s UK and Ireland business, total and organic revenue growth flatlined at constant currency.
The firm’s B2B offering declined by 1% after a strong first quarter in 2018, while Consumer Services continued its improving trend and returned to growth in the quarter, with organic revenue up 1%.
Across the company as a whole, revenue growth touched 7%, driven by a strong performance in North American and Latin America.
Brian Cassin, chief executive, said: “We have started the year well and in line with our expectations. Q1 total revenue growth was 7% at constant exchange rates and organic revenue growth was 6%. At actual exchange rates total growth was 4%. We are excited about our prospects and for the year ahead our guidance is unchanged.”
