Wealth management firm poaches duo from rival

Financial planning and wealth management firm The RU Group has made two senior hires to its Nottingham HQ at at the NG2 business park.

Matthew Harrison, joins the firm from Brown Shipley and has been appointed as paraplanning team leader.

Harrison has worked in the financial services industry for over thirty years covering many areas, primarily investments, pensions and protection. He has held various roles during his career, including that of a fully authorised adviser, a mortgage adviser and senior paraplanner.

Sue Hancox has been appointed as the group’s new finance controller. Hancox has worked in the industry for over 20 years, working primarily in account departments. Hancox, also from Brown Shipley, is ACCA qualified and has spent the last nine years working as a finance controller.
