Interior fit-out firm appoints high-profile NED

Well-known Leicestershire business figure Ian Guylee has been appointed by workplace consultants and interior fit-out specialists Blueprint Interiors as a non-executive director.

Guyler has been acting as a consultant and non-exec to a range of local businesses for the last 16 years. He is also chair of the Lord Taverners Charity in the East Midlands and as a former board member of The Foxes Trust.

In his non-exec role with Blueprint Interiors, Guyler will be helping the management team of chief executive Rob Day, operations director Rachel Biddles and creative director Chloe Sproston to push towards the £5m turnover barrier.

Biddles said: “As a management team we welcome Ian’s invaluable insight and guidance as to how we can focus on our core markets and create a business that is both profitable and with a good sense of corporate social responsibility. Workplace consultancy and employee well being are at the core of our service proposition and Ian will help us to further embed this into our business and communicate the benefits of this USP to our existing and prospective clients.”

Guyler added: “I am delighted that Blueprint Interiors has chosen to appoint me to advise them on their next phase of growth and to help shape the roles each director will focus on as the long-term strategy unfolds.
