Law firm announces raft of senior promotions

Shakespeare Martineau has promoted seven legal directors and nine associates, including eight in the East Midlands.

Nottingham real estate expert Rachel Kent and Debra Burton, contentious probate specialist in the firm’s Leicester office, have both been made legal directors.

The company has also promoted five new associates at its Leicester office. Ben Darlow and Charlotte Ellis step up in the real estate team, while family law expert Stephanie Kyriacou, restructuring, recoveries and insolvency specialist Alex Ryan and commercial and IP specialist Hema Singhal are all rewarded.

Corporate lawyer Rachael Mitchison has also been promoted in Nottingham.
