On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
CBE+, the Derbyshire-based precision manufacturing company, has promoted one of its shop floor machinists to the position of sales account manager.
Sam Sibert joined CBE+ five years ago and completed his apprenticeship with the firm before becoming fully qualified as a machinist.
Fabio Cosenza, business development manager at CBE+, said: “We recognised that Sam had that essential understanding of machining components and could combine this with good customer relationships, to become a key member of the sales team. This is a busy and exciting time for our business as we continue to develop new opportunities in the aerospace and automotive sectors and Sam will play a key role in this.”
Elsewhere, Northamptonshire-based design agency Poppy Design Studio has appointed a new marketing manager.
Marie Baker and Simon Cox
Simon Cox will work closely with owner Marie Baker.
He has worked with the Poppy Design Studio team on a number of projects in the past, including the expansion of the small business networks around Northamptonshire, the Kettering Awards and the Kettering Business Network.
Baker said: “I am delighted to welcome Simon to the team and he brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to support the growth of Poppy Design Studio. We look forward to an exciting year ahead.”
