Pendragon offloads US asset for £31.1m

Car dealership giant Pendragon has completed the sale of its Jaguar Land Rover outlet in Newport Beach, California.
The £31.1 million transaction follows the £28.2 million sale of the firm’s Mission Viejo dealership in July.
The Nottingham-based company has endured a troubled time of late, having reported a £32.2 million loss earlier in the year.
It was forced to axe around 300 jobs in September after closing 22 of its car store outlets.
