Champagne corks are popping at Castle Donington-based Invictus Communications after the telecommunications firm enjoyed a record start to the year.

The company has clinched £400,000 worth of new business in recent weeks, including contracts to install telephony systems for John Pye Serviced Offices, the Kiddi Caru children’s day nursery group and managed services specialists AM2PM Group Holdings.

The John Pye contract will see Invictus roll-out a new telephone system across the Nottingham firm’s 23 nationwide sites, comprising nearly one million square feet of facilities.

The company has also expanded its network of referral partners by joining a high-profile networking group, and has subsequently forged a new partnership with IT firm Infuse Technology.

Managing director Jonny McPhee said: “Our ethos is to ‘buy local, sell local and support local’ so it is important to us that we expand all these areas.

“By working with other companies to benefit mutual customers, we can increase sales and then plough a good proportion of profits back into the local community.

“I am confident that this record start further paves the way to achieving our goal to be the ‘go to’ telecommunications provider in the East Midlands.”
