Bespoke residential scheme gets the green light

A development of 58 bespoke homes has been given the green light by Mansfield planning chiefs.

Piper Homes will start work on the scheme off High Oakham Hill in the summer.

Rupert Parkin, land director at Piper Homes, said: “This new development will give people a wider choice of new homes in the local area; helping to meet the current high demand for new properties; particularly larger homes. Our plans include a mix of two, three, and four bedroom houses, with numerous designs and layouts for people to choose from.”

Inspiration for the homes has been taken from local architecture.

Parkin added: “As a local housebuilder, we believe in building homes in the finest locations which means we put a large focus on ensuring our development plans are sympathetic to the existing environment. With that in mind, wherever possible, we will be retaining the existing trees and hedgerows, whilst also creating new green landscaping and protecting the boundary with Cauldwell Brook.

“We are very excited to have received planning for this new scheme in Mansfield and can’t wait to see it flourish into a beautiful place to live.”
