A headquarters building on a Nottingham business park has been sold to the Barrowcliffe Pension Fund.

Acting on behalf of private clients, heb brokered the deal to sell the 9,000 sq ft Resource House on Phoenix Business Park, Nottingham to the fund, which says it intends to upgrade the building before putting on the market for rent.

Robert Maxey of heb Chartered Surveyors said: “The building already offered a high standard of accommodation, so I am really looking forward to seeing how it looks once works have been completed.

“The Barrowcliffe family are well known to us, and their straightforward, pragmatic approach to property dealing is always welcomed.

“Given the limited availability of Grade A, open plan offices in Nottingham at the moment I have no doubt the investment will be a great success for them.”
