Manufacturing firm seals deal to buy own HQ

A manufacturing company has bought its own premises in Derbyshire.

In a deal brokered by Salloway Property Consultants, Tamper Technologies has purchased the warehouse building on Ashbourne’s Airfield Industrial Estate.

The company offers a catalogue of hi-tech products including security tape and bag and carton tape which it says could be vital during the transport of equipment during the coronavirus crisis.

Salloway Property Consultants surveyor, Hugo Beresford, said: “This shows that business can still be done during the coronavirus crisis.

He added: “Tamper Technologies are an exciting business and I’m delighted that they now have permanent premises on Moor Farm Road West, at the heart of this very popular industrial estate, with easy access on to the A52.”

“Despite the difficult conditions arising from the pandemic, not only does this deal demonstrates that the demand for the right property is unwavering, it shows that the property market is still functioning.”

“With co-operation on all sides, it is still possible to complete property transactions quickly,” added Beresford.

Josh Green, director of vendor Leaf Gifts, said: “We received an offer within 24 hours of our property going on the market.

“We are absolutely delighted. Not only with the whole sales process, which went smoothly from start to finish, but we also achieved above the asking price.”
