Tesla showroom set to open in West Bridgford

A new Tesla car showroom is coming to the Nottinghan suburb of West Bridgford.

Documents seen by TheBusinessDesk.com show that the electric car maker is set to move into the former Sandicliffe site on Loughborough Road, next to Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

The plans seems to contradict planning permission that was granted last year to B&K Thomas who outlined a scheme that would include a Co-op food store, a gym, a “local prestige fish restaurant operator”, a sandwich bar and a vetinary practice. The development was being designed by Maber.

The site has recently been used as a temporary car park.
