Asda takes 317,000 sq ft Leicestershire warehouse
Asda has signed up to a short-term sub-let deal from Eddie Stobart to take 317,000 sq ft of warehouse space at Mountpark Bardon, according to reports.
The supermarket giant has made the move to meet the surge in grocery demand brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, says Property Week.
Mountpark Bardon is home to US fashion giant VF Corporation, Amazon and Pharmacy2U, among others.
It is near junction 21 of the M1 and extends to 145 acres.
