Former Derbyshire home of Hollywood actress up for sale for £1.6m

White Meadow House

The Derbyshire home where the award-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave once lived has been brought to the market for £1.6m by Savills.

White Meadow House, a seven bedroom family home, is located outside the village of Parwich within the the Peak District National Park.

The period country house was once used by the Workers Revolutionary Party as a training venue under the name of ‘Red House’.

Clare Bingham, an associate in the residential team at Savills Nottingham, said: “This is a substantial country house in the heart of the Peak District National Park which enjoys both a very private setting and wonderful open views. Not only does it have a link to one of the country’s finest actresses, it provides plenty of private, open space just outside the picturesque village of Parwich.”
