Data capture firm restructures management team

Nottingham-based data capture firm PLM Global has restructured its management team as it looks to enhance its international presence.

The three co-founders of the firm, Sean Smiles, Shane Watson and Paul Spensley, have instigated a re-organisationn of the firm that will see Smiles concentrate on global sales, while Watson and Spensley will become joint managing directors of the firm’s UK operation, with the former looking after sales, growth and revenue and the latter focused on operations and finance.

A statement from the firm said: “We have invested time over recent months reviewing the needs of the business against our aspirational goals for the next planned growth period. This has led the highly experienced management team to identify the need for a greater global presence, requiring a strategic shift in this direction.”

PLM Global also has offices in Birmingham and London.
