New student lettings firm launches in Leicester

A new student accommodation lettings company has launched in Leicester.

Live Students says it want to to offer students “more than just accommodation”.

Formerly known as Oliver Rayns Students, part of Oliver Rayns Estate Agents, Live Students has over 1,000 student bed spaces in the city on its books, for both students of the University of Leicester and De Montfort University. The firm says it is also working with developers on a number of new accommodation sites.

Every student in one of the firm’s properties will receive their own Live Students card, which will enable them to claim exclusive discounts around city from independents and local businesses. Partners on the card include Caddyshackers, Jimmy’s Killer Prawns, Jacob and Joe and many more.

Oliver Rayns, director of Live Students, said: “Live Students is about a lifestyle for students to enjoy. Leicester has so much to offer as a city and has a thriving independent scene. We want to encourage people who are new to the city to embrace that and help them have the best time possible whilst studying here in the city.”
